Frankfurt am Main / Berlin - August 27, 2009 - Klaus Wowereit, who as Governing Mayor of Berlin serves as both mayor of the city and governor of the state, today visited Nanostart-held MagForce Nanotechnologies AG along with representatives of the press corps.
Following a company presentation and a guided tour through MagForce’s new office and laboratory facility, the mayor met with Dr. Uwe Maschek, CEO of MagForce Nanotechnologies, and Dr. Andreas Jordan, founder and Chief Scientific Officer, who presented and explained the current status and next steps for obtaining regulatory approval as well as the commercialization phase to follow. Mayor Wowereit also expressed interest in the company’s plans for further research and for the expected business development associated with these.
