Frankfurt am Main - The Annual General Meeting of Nanostart AG has elected a new supervisory board. The new supervisory board has three members, and has been elected for a period of five years in accordance with the company’s articles of association.
The members are the Munich lawyer Dr. Alfred Krammer, the nanotech scientist Prof. Dr. Wolfgang M. Heckl (also from Munich), and Prof. Dr. Michael Fischer, an expert in tax law from Kiel.
At the supervisory board meeting that followed the Annual General Meeting, Dr. Alfred Krammer was elected chairman of the supervisory board. Dr. Krammer works mainly in the fields of business, company and capital market law. He is also a member of a number of other supervisory boards, including that of VEM Aktienbank AG.
The supervisory board elected Prof. Dr. Wolfgang M. Heckl, a leading expert in nanoscience, as its deputy chairman. Prof. Heckl, who is recognized far beyond the borders of Germany as a leading expert in the young discipline of nanotechnology, is professor of experimental physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität of Munich and is also director of the Deutsches Museum in the same city.
Alongside Messrs. Krammer and Heckl, the well-known specialist in tax law, Prof. Dr. Michael Fischer, agreed to join the supervisory board of Nanostart AG. Prof. Fischer, who holds a chair at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, is regarded as a leading expert in the field of the taxation of the legal forms, succession and transformation of companies.
